Hello Everyone! My new UGC equipment has just arrived and I am so excited to start using them to elevate the quality of my UGC work. I wanted to invest in equipment because having good video/photo quality will reflect positively on your brand as it looks more professional and helps communicate credibility to your audience.
Here is the equipment I use:
- Phone: Having a phone or a camera is essential in UGC as you can record or take photos with it. Making sure you have a phone that has a good camera quality is key. I personally use an IPhone 12.
- Lighting: I bought a clip on light which allows me to easily clip it to my phone. It has 3 different light settings that I can adjust the brightness of.
- Tripod: Buying a tripod has been a game changer! It allows me to record a video hands free, allowing for more stable video recordings, and I can adjust the height and angle of my videos quickly.
- Microphone: Finally I bought a Bluetooth microphone, that I can hold or clip onto clothing. Not only will this allow me to start making ASMR UGC videos, but it will also elevate the quality of my voiceovers with crisp audio. (ASMR= Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response)
- CapCut: I use this app on my phone to edit my videos. Not only does this allow me to edit videos at a faster pace, but it also gives me so many creative options and ideas which elevate the quality of my videos.
